The Sunteca Skyshade FTS has been awarded the "Australian Design Award". The harsh environment over a glass roof or Pergola is very demanding. The Sunteca Skyshade FTS has been designed for maximum durability. All visible metal parts are powder coated aluminium and all steel parts are stainless steel. The elegant extruded cassette box is made out of high quality alloy; the end profile seals the cassette perfectly tight and thus protecting the fabric from stains and bad weather. A patented system of pistons with gas pressure integrated in the lateral bearing surfaces ensures a constant tension of the fabric. Various supports of fixing allow a flexible and easy assembly
The Sunteca Skyshade FTS can operate at any angle - even vertically upwards.If the side guides are supported on posts the Sunteca Skyshade FTS can be used to cover a patio to create a weatherproof area as it will withstand a significant amount of wind and quite a lot of rain, depending on the slope.
The Sunteca Skyshade FTS is only available with electric operation.
The side guides can be mitred to allow the Skyshade FTS to cover the vertical face of the glass as well as the sloping section.The side guides can be curved to follow barrel vaulted roofs or to provide horizontal and vertical shade over a patio with one awning.
