Use it in those situations where it is not possible to use an awning with arms.
The bottom rail slides down cable guides so that it does not flap around in the wind. The bottom rail is aluminium extrusion, clear anodized for long life.
The Sunteca Top Roll will cover the entire window and so is suitable for a window that faces any direction. Be careful about windows that hinge outwards. Ask about specialty products for these windows. Recommended fabrics are mesh type fabrics so that the view is maintained without closing in the room.
Operation is simple - manual tape or electric motor. With the addition of an internal operation kit the Top Roll can be operated from inside the room where there is no access to the outside e.g. upstairs. A dark fabric, especially black, is most useful because view retention is by looking between the strands of yarn. If the fabric is white it "glows" in sunlight and it is very difficult to see through. Other colours are intermediate between black and white with regard to view retention.
